A month to go

sunny

So it's getting quite scary and very exciting now. A month from now I'll be on my way to the other side of the world, on a plane, which is scary. Not that I'm scared of flying I just have problems with my ears popping therefore two 8 hour flights really do not seem that much of a good idea to me. Australia and Singapore however, do!

I guess you deserve an overview of what the trip will include... So i'll be travelling with the Joshua Foundation and will need to be in coventry for stupid o'clock on the 30th June for my coach trip with other oz team members to heathrow to catch our first plane to Singapore, where I will most likely collapse from the severe heat. No, that's not an option because we have kiddies to visit in Singapore hospital, no time for slacking. The next day we get a tour of singapore before moving on again later that day for SYDNEY yay! Whistle stop tour in Woolongogogong (or something like that) including wildlife park, and most likely our first kangaroo siting. And koalas even more important as I'm part of the koala oz team, much cooler than being a skippy =) (only joking skippies). Then after a bit it's onto kangaroo valley, so named due to the 8 foot boxing kangaroos we will be sharing our home with for our week of conservation, hard work, dodgey cooking, and early starts. After that it's on to sydney for a bridge climb, visit to the Jewish museum, darling harbour, bondi beach and many other sites. That's all before the other ozzies disapear home leaving me and Beth alone for a night sleeping among the animals at Taronga zoo, and a few days exploring by ourselves.

So yes, very exciting. Now all I need is to pack and indeed buy the things to pack. Get all my various currencies sorted out and find a way of getting home from Heathrow with a giant suitcase. Which must NOT weigh more than 20K it says in the guide. Oh dear, this may be interesting.

So till then, bye bye xx
